In 2013 werden een groot aantal domeinen die op HalfDollarHosting Ltd worden gehost gehackt. Het ging om website die WordPress gebruikten als CMS. Ik heb de beslissing genomen om betreffende websites ergens anders onder te brengen. Mijn vertrouwen in HalfDollarHosting Ltd was hierdoor geschaad. Ik heb het contract, dan ook niet verder verlengt.
Ik promootte tot voor kort HalfDollarHosting Ltd voor goedkope hosting, toen ik vandaag de link controleerde, kreeg ik onderstaande melding.
Dit voelde niet goed. Voor mij is dit de reden om te stoppen met het promoten van dit bedrijf.
Naschrift
HalfDollarHosting Ltd is inmiddels gestopt. Het bedrijf had veel last van concurrentie.

Half Dollar hosting management is finding it difficult to offer reliable services because of the shrinking margins of doing business.
Since it is not manageable to recover at least the service cost, we intend to stop the services to our valuable clients.
Hence you are requested to move your hosting to any other vendor of your choice before 31st August 2018.
We shall be unable to offer any support in this regard beyond that date.
So please treat this as important intimation and do the needful at your end.
